About Chuck

On a crisp October day in 1995, Chuck Gallagher took 23 physical steps… opened a door… and began a new experience that was life-changing. In a style that is far more vulnerable than most motivational keynote speakers, Chuck Gallagher shares the painful lessons of his life with his audience and touches them forever.

Author of a new book:  SECOND CHANCES – Transforming Adversity into Opportunity – Chuck is a sought after speaker sharing insight into what motivates our choices and how we can make empowering choices that create successful lives.

Featured on CNN Radio, CBS Radio, Business Week, NPR and other main stream media outlets, Chuck is in high demand for his insight in to the world of business ethics, choices, fraud and fraud prevention.

As a motivational keynote speaker, business ethics, fraud prevention consultant and radio talk show host, Chuck’s message contains a blend of motivation, success, choices, consequences, illusions, failure, ethics, and integrity based on personal experience. In today’s world, you want an expert in his field that will impact your organization … someone they won’t forget. Combine motivation and ethics with meaning and you have Chuck Gallagher.

Chuck Gallagher is a business executive, professional speaker and business consultant with humble beginnings.  Reared by a single parent in the projects, Chuck now serves as a Chief Operating Officer for a national private company and served as a Sr. VP for a Public Company.  Today, Gallagher helps corporate employees realize the ramifications of their ethical choices and works with firms in fraud prevention.  Through his own choices, Chuck learned many lessons the hard way, but with profound benefits that now follow.

At 26, Gallagher became the youngest tax partner in a regional CPA firm and was one of only three CPAs in the country asked to testify before the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee on a new employee benefits provision of the tax law. During that time he authored numerous articles for national publications and has developed several continuing professional education (CPE) seminars, which he taught with passion and a flair that audiences loved.

In the middle of a rising career, Gallagher lost everything because he made some bad choices. He has since rebuilt his career and his life back to immense success. With more vulnerability than the average keynoter, Gallagher shares with his audiences his life journey, the consequences of his unethical choices, and how life gives you second chances when you make the right choices.

As a professional motivational keynote speaker and business consultant – someone who understands the challenges of business from both a growth and ethics perspective, Chuck can deliver a message to your audience or organization that can empower them to achieve success beyond illusion while doing so with ethical integrity.  Likewise, if your organization is truly interested in your employees making the right choices and identifying and preventing fraud, then a confidential consultation would be in order.  Chuck, and his team of fraud prevention experts, can help your company reduce loss and keep you out of the headlines – at least those headlines you know you want to avoid.

    Chuck,

I enjoyed your story. As a matter of fact a got a laugh out of it. It was like I was writing the story. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year. I was 47 years old and everything was fine. I just happened to switch to a new doctor and he noticed that my PSA was elevated. I too had the Da Vinci surgery. As a matter of fact I was the first patient at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount to have the robotic surgery. I highly recommend it to any who may be in the same situation. Thanks for getting your story out!

Hello Chuck after reading the opening article of your site where the victims were home owners behind in there payments and poor credit.
We went through the very same thing, We were presented 3 refi. packages from Countrywide which shortly disappeared to the the credit rating. We were offered 5,000.00 dollars to immediately help us out while they arranged an investor with good credit to participate. The only other choice we had was to loose our home via foreclosure. The investor fee would be 38,000.00 dollars and we were promissed in writing that we would be on title prior to closing escrow. That was a condition that gave us a chance of one day getting our home back…Escrow closed we were not on title they all got there money the home went to trustee sale Sept. 10 and we are now in day 8 of an eviction process of our home of 10 years….Very sad and vioalted…any ideas of hope …

  6. Vic…have you checked with local law enforcement or the FBI. Keep in mind the FBI has a massive fraud investigation on going and this might be of interest to them. Otherwise, I wish I could share hope, however, I feel that you – along with ten’s of thousands of other folks – were caught in a web that it still too tangled to unravel.

    Hello,

I’d welcome a conversation with you as your schedule permits. I’m a convicted felon, more then ten years ago. I’m also a successful small business owner and sales consultant.

I came out as a felon almost two years ago when I joined Toastmasters and earned my Competent Communicators certification, specifically gearing up to speak professionally.

I have done public speaking for years but now I’m doing it professionally and from the perspective only a felon can bring.

As I sat here honing my first Keynote speech, I was compelled to visit your site again.

Perhaps I could ask you a few questions; additionally, perhaps I can bring you into gigs as well. I haven’t seen a woman doing this, nor a team. I’m not saying I want to partner with you but I am interested in picking your brain and would be happy to support your efforts in return.

Looking forward to the possibilities, my very best,
    Beatrice

Chuck, could you get us an update on Bradd Stinn, I heard a rumor that he may skate because the counts he was convicted of were not included on the original indictment.
    Thanks!

  9. Jim says:

Greetings Chuck! Thanks for the call yesterday with the realism and honesty that I needed right now! Of course my mind is spinning in many directions, and as I said, I am having my surgery (robotic) on this coming Monday! Scary! As a new chapter and door opens, I plan on using your fantastic advice to the “T” ! Your a God Send and much appreciate you and your advice! What did Wadsworth say, “Rings and jewels are not gifts (although we would like to own them) they are only apologies for gifts, as the only true gift is thyself! Great job Chuck! Jim

    Hello Chuck!
What a delight to see your Facebook post and then to go to your website which looks great. Looks as if you are doing very well, and I encourage you to also check out the area universities and community colleges who could seriously use a speaker on business/personal ethics. As for me, I’m speaking to bring a musical perspective to our crazy lives. My tag – “More music, more life!” Hope you’ll check my website: http://www.lydiagoberspeaks.com. Keep in touch!

  12. Christine Morton says:

    Dear Chuck,
I just happened upon your site looking for something else.
But I say things happen for reasons…..maybe you are the answer to something I need help with. What about the BIG GUYS…..excuse me…..the olddddd Big Guys…..GM.
Whitacre gets commended for paying back the loan to the government sooooo quickly…..how wonderful! But he is so far up the chain, you might think I was trying to reach the White House…actually I think that would probably be easier. Anyhow, my family dealership a Cadillac Oldsmobile Saab dealer sincer 1934, is under incorporation by MHD which is the Big Guys investment division…..oh Motors Holding Division….they invest with dealerships that need the financial capital to pursue continued efforts to remain in business…..oh, that is selling their product that they produce,so they can payoff their debt for bankruptcy early. After 8 years of partnership
with them, Now they want to steal and rip us off. It is that old thing called GREED…….Someone always want more and there is always some hidden agenda that is not on the table. I would like to email you a copy of the letter I sent to Whitacre if you don’t mind. Please advise

  13. Mad Taxpayer says:

Thanks Chuck! God bless you, me, all sinners and even the perfect.

  14. JB says:

Chuck, your work is very muck appreciated.Thank you for keeping us up to date on the BizRadio saga. . JB

  15. clutterbells says:

Is this a real story or made up to support your site. Seems either unlikely or highly embellished.

    • It was shared to me as real. Interesting however that you’d think either unlikely or highly embellished. Seems like we all to often think that the human condition can’t provide for a heart that opens to need through love. Whether true or embellished…isn’t this what we truly want?

  16. Herbert Williams says:

You did an article (Mortgage Fraud – 30 years in prison – Excessive?) on CHalana McFarland. It was indicated that the case was pending before the 11th Circuit Court. Do you know if the court has rendered a ruling?
